In this dynamic and thought-provoking session, our Change Leader shares powerful personal stories and practical insights to challenge assumptions and promote authentic inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace. With his own lived experience of succeeding through the challenges of his disability and achieving professional expertise, our Change Leader empowers attendees to dismantle biases, understand the real scope of disability, and embrace disability inclusion as a business and cultural imperative Audience: Single Company Type: In-person Lenght: Half Day No of Sessions: 1 Minimum Delegates: 10 Maximum Delegates: 25 - To demystify disability and dismantle stigma in the workplace. - To deepen understanding of how to meaningfully include and support employees with disabilities. - To empower attendees to take practical steps toward a more inclusive workplace culture. - To provide tools for improving accessibility, communication, and representation. Objectives: - Define disability in a modern, inclusive context and understand the diversity of lived experiences. - Explore the history of disability rights and its relevance in today’s workplaces. - Identify common challenges and barriers that people with disabilities face. - Discuss the role of inclusive leadership and allyship. - Highlight the business case for disability inclusion—from talent acquisition to customer engagement. Learning Outcomes - By the end of the session, participants will: - Understand how visible and invisible disabilities impact individuals in the workplace. - Recognise unconscious biases and assumptions that hinder inclusion. - Learn practical actions to foster disability confidence and inclusivity at all levels.
