Menopause is a natural life stage that affects millions of people, yet it remains a topic often surrounded by misunderstanding and stigma - especially in the workplace. This awareness course is designed for employees of all genders and ages, creating an open and supportive environment where the menopause is no longer a taboo, but a ‘common thing’ we all understand and know how to support. This engaging and informative session shines a light on the physical, emotional, and psychological impact of menopause. It promotes empathy, awareness, and proactive support, helping organisations become more inclusive, compassionate, and productive. Audience: Single Company Type: In-person Lenght: 1 Day No of Sessions: 1 Minimum Delegates: 10 Maximum Delegates: 25 Course Aims: - To normalise menopause discussions in the workplace. - To increase awareness and understanding of menopause and its impacts. - To promote a culture of empathy, support, and inclusivity for those experiencing menopausal symptoms. - To equip teams and managers with the knowledge and tools to provide meaningful support. Objectives - By the end of the course, participants will: - Understand what menopause is, including the stages (peri-menopause, menopause, post-menopause) and common symptoms. - Explore the impact menopause can have on work performance, mental health, and overall wellbeing. - Identify practical adjustments and supportive measures that can be implemented in the workplace. - Recognise the importance of language, empathy, and inclusion when discussing menopause. - Learn how to initiate and hold respectful, supportive conversations with colleagues and team members.
